Spring 2017 COMPASSION IN ACTION

NEW HOPE FAMILIES

This is our 10th annual Compassion In Action community service project! Twice each year, New Hope has an opportunity to be a light in our community by applying what we learn from the Bible about serving others. Each spring, New Hope goes to various elementary schools in Chula Vista to help with projects; such as campus clean ups, window washing, planting flowers, and gardening.

Compassion In Action is one of the largest, most anticipated church-wide event at New Hope. This year having the greatest amount of Chula Vista school project requests (15 schools). In order for this community service to be successful we need everyone’s participation.

We need New Hope families to participate in two ways: First, invite your family and friends; second, serve in one of these areas listed. Again, this is a church-wide event that every family can participate in.

Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers. Free BBQ is provided for all volunteers participating following the 3rd service.
